Four years ago Gustaf Hagman and Robin Ramm-Ericson founded the mobile gaming company LeoVegas. From the very start one thing has been abundantly clear: these lions do not sleep!
With a well thought out focus on the mobile casino market, they are rivaling well established Swedish companies such as Betsson and Unibet, as well as Mr Green.
But they are not only winning over their customers, they are also winning over juries and taking home awards. The latest in the row is GI Casino Operator of the Year at the GIA 2016. The GIA surfaced just last year and Bobby Mamudi, the editior-in-chief of Gaming Intelligence, had then the following to say about the Awards:
“We have built our reputation on the integrity of our editorial products and the Awards follow the same policy. The industry demanded an end to cronyism and we have delivered just that with the GIA’s”.
Gaming Intelligence’s great reputation makes this a reputable award in many ways, and LeoVegas is of course very happy to have received the honor of Best Casino Operator of the Year:
“We are delighted that the gaming industry have crowned LeoVegas as the leading casino operator,” said chief executive and co-founder of LeoVegas, Gustaf Hagman. “Mobile makes gaming more fun – and LeoVegas is all about the greatest gaming experience.”
In January this year, for the first time the EGR’s held a EGR Nordic Award. LeoVegas took home the titles for “Casino Operator of the Year” and “Mobile Operator of the Year”. As EGR Magazine describes the event as the Oscars of the e-gaming industry it is not difficult to imagine that there is just a tad bit more nerves and pride surrounding these events. Already having won several EGR Awards over the past years it will be most interesting to see what categories they will take home this year in London. This cub is most definitely on its way to grow up!
